Shock Wave Intensive Course
Shock Wave Intensive Course
2-Week Hands-On Training
- Dates: TBD
- Location: Institute for Shock Physics, Washington State University, Pullman, WA
The Institute for Shock Physics (ISP) Shock Wave Intensive Course offers students and researchers (professional staff) an introduction to shock physics fundamentals and high-pressure loading platforms and diagnostics.
Attendees from a range of disciplines including Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Geo/Planetary Science benefit from this exciting curriculum.
Curriculum Highlights
- Core shock physics concepts essential for experimental design
- Real-time data analysis
- Seminars led by experts in the field
Participants engage in a pre-designed experimental series to conduct meaningful, hands-on shock wave physics investigations using the Institute’s world class research facilities.
How to Apply
Graduate Students/Researchers
